Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026

btna.com.au is a free, independent review website focused on pokies venues and related services across Australia ("pokies near me"). We want to be fully transparent about how we keep this site running.

1. Affiliate Commissions

btna.com.au may earn affiliate commissions when you click on certain links on this website and sign up, deposit, or make a purchase with a third-party operator or venue. This means we may receive a payment from the operator at no additional cost to you. These commissions help us cover the costs of researching, writing, and maintaining this website.

2. Editorial Independence

Affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial rankings, ratings, or reviews in any way. Our reviewers evaluate operators based on objective criteria such as game selection, licensing, payout speed, customer support, and player safety. Operators cannot pay for a higher ranking, and we do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews.

3. How to Identify Affiliate Links

Links that may earn us a commission are typically marked in one or more of the following ways:

• They are labelled with an asterisk (*) or the words "Affiliate Link" or "Sponsored" alongside or near the link.
• They redirect through a tracking URL or tracking parameters.
• They appear within sections clearly marked as "Recommended Operators" or similar.

If you are unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, please contact us before clicking.

4. Compliance Statement (Australia)

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), which requires that material connections between reviewers and advertisers are clearly disclosed. We are also guided by the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) Code of Ethics and the AANA Code of Advertising and Marketing Communication to Children. If you have concerns about any content on this site, you may raise them with the Ad Standards Community Panel or the ACCC.

5. Reader Responsibility

All gambling involves risk, and there is no guarantee of winning. You are responsible for your own decisions when engaging with any operator listed on this site. We strongly encourage you to read the terms and conditions of any operator before signing up, gamble responsibly, and seek help if gambling stops being fun. Support is available 24/7 via Gamblers Helpline: 1800 858 858 or Gambling Help Online.
